Our pilot program began at University Place Elementary and Middle School in the Forest Lake neighborhood of Tuscaloosa. After the April 27th tornado, we installed raised beds at the interim site of UPES at Stillman Heights Education center and are currently doing our educational outreach program there.  The original UP garden site is still being used for food production and is a place where people can get together to learn about food and farming.
